EspressÖ (Espresso-island) is the first to merge coastal environments and landscapes with electro-acoustic, hot-brewage related soundart. By creating a setting where audience can appropriate the magnificent and powerful coastal climate, the most important artistic contribution in this project can be seen as framing the art that surrounds us.

A series of guests are picked up at their home address by a private chauffeur and driven to a drop off spot. A guide takes them through a meadow landscape and wading through shallow waters.

On a tidal island, a formally dressed waiter receives them and takes their orders of hot brewage. He calls out towards some rocks in open waters for a barista that shows up out of nowhere and brews electro-acoustic coffee. After being served, the guests are left alone for 15 min to contemplate, where after they're taken home again.
