‘Lydtryk#1: Marstal Havn’ is a processual exhibition portraying a resonant, existential condition of life with the motive of sub-aquatic soundscapes gradually being embedded in a soundinstallation and performative environment. It uses a contemporary reinterpretation of electroacoustic methods and tools from great composers Alvin Lucier as well as his colleague Nicolas Collins.
‘Lydtryk#1: Marstal Havn’ is part of an ongoing series of other ‘Lydtryk’ that portrays the danish archipelagian island of Ærø, and is funded by Danish Composers Society.
‘Lydtryk#1: Marstal Havn’ was subject to a conference lecture on the usage of symbolics within soundart at MINU festival in november 2022.
